Environmental compliance means conforming to environmental laws, regulations, and additional requirements. Over the past two decades, there has been an increase in the number and scope of compliance requirement. These requirements target sources of pollution (no matter the size of the company or industry). They are intended to protect employees, the general public, and the environment.
